Our Italian-inspired semolina ciabatta features a cream-coloured, airy crumb surrounded by a thin and crispy crust. For extra fun and a subtly nutty taste, we top each ciabatta with sesame seeds. Did you know that its name is owed to the pre-fermentation method of Polish origin that gives it its delightful texture? For cocktail hour, turn thin slices of baguette into savoury ‘chips’ and serve with guacamole and salsa. You can also make canapés by spreading open-faced baguette with herbed cream cheese, then top with smoked salmon and a touch of lemon.
