Baguette and BBQ
Spring is back and we are all tempted to FINALLY bring out the BBQ! Eat your grilled meat and vegetable dishes with this BBQ Grilled Garlic & Herb Baguette. For even more flavors, add cheese to it. Delight guaranteed.
- 1 French Loaf Bread
- 60g soft butter
- 3 cloves garlic, finely chopped
- ½ tablespoon of salt
- Pepper and/or chilli to taste
- A few sprigs of thyme
- Fresh parsley, chopped mint leaves
- Melting cheese (example Swiss cheese)
In a bowl, combine the butter, herbs, salt, pepper and garlic.
Slice the baguette without cutting the base at 2.5-cm (1-inch) intervals.
Spread the incisions with the garlic and herb butter, then place the cheese slices in the incisions.
Place on the grill of the BBQ or the oven for 10-15 minutes.
